Getting started

How do I sign up?

Open Pocko and sign up with your email and a password. Pocko is in an invite-only beta, so sign-up needs an invitation code. Passwords need at least 8 characters, with an upper-case letter, a lower-case letter and a special character (such as - ! @).

Why does it take a moment the first time?

The first time a new account opens Pocko, we set up your computer. That takes about 10 seconds, while Pocko shows that it is getting your workspace ready. After that it usually opens in a few seconds.

Domi and your computer

What can Domi do?

Domi runs commands and programs (such as Python) on your computer, creates and edits files, sorts and analyses data, and tells you what it found. Every step it takes shows up in the conversation.

What is Domi's computer like?

A cloud computer running Linux that belongs to you alone, isolated from everyone else's. Domi works as an ordinary user, without administrator (root) rights.

Do my files stay?

Files in your home folder (/opt/data) stay, including software and Python virtual environments Domi installs there. Software installed elsewhere can be cleared when the computer is updated; ask Domi to install it again when you need it.

Settings

How do I change the language?

Pocko follows your phone's language: Chinese if your phone is set to Chinese, English for any other language. You can also switch in Settings → General → Language.

Account and security

I forgot my password

Tap “Forgot password” on the sign-in screen and enter your email. We send a 6-digit code that works for 15 minutes. Enter it with a new password; every device is then signed out, so sign in again with the new password. If the email doesn't arrive, check your spam folder; one request per email address per minute.

How do I delete my account?

Go to Settings → General → Account, choose Delete account and confirm with your password. Deletion happens at once and cannot be undone: your account, conversations, your computer and every file on it are removed for good.
